Spiritual direction is a safe space to build the beliefs, values, and practices that sustain you.
My Approach to Spiritual Direction
As a spiritual director, my role is to be a reflective witness, a listener, and a co-explorer with you, providing space for you to connect with yourself, your values, and the Divine.
I trained as a spiritual director through Ontario Jubilee. I’ve been meeting with a spiritual director since 2012, and I will continue to be meet with my own spiritual director as I also offer spiritual direction to others.
While spiritual direction comes from the ancient Christian monastic traditions, it is not exclusively Christian; the focus and content of your spiritual direction is up to you!
Spiritual direction is reflecting on experiences and challenges in life with the goal to explore God’s direction and purpose, in collaboration with a director.
Spiritual direction is exploring and deepening our understanding of our soul’s characteristics: passions, desires, morals – how to navigate them and support bringing them to fruition.

Spiritual direction is a supportive resource that is distinct from psychotherapy or life-coaching.
I am completely shocked by how much I’ve grown in this past year, and I attribute a lot of that to my time with you, and the spiritual experiences you’ve helped me explore.
I was aware of your methods, your calmness and how wonderful you are to stay on track. What I didn’t expect was how profoundly that it would affect me internally.

Spiritual direction invites you to explore your own inner wisdom more than it involves seeking external “direction.
How does it work?
The first step in Spiritual Direction is for us to meet, to have a conversation about what you are looking for and what I offer, and for both of us to consider whether we would be a good fit.
If we decide to move forward, we would schedule regular meetings, usually every 4-6 weeks.
I work with a sliding-scale for payment, and I suggest an amount of $10/hr for every $10,000 of annual income that you have.
